About Me

Hi! I’m Vivi… the Queen Bee of the Scrappin’ Busy Bees.

I started enjoying the amazing hobby of scrapbooking back in high school (many moons ago). As you know, back then scrapbooking was way different than it is today. I remember cutting out words from my Teen Magazine to embellish my pages and use bubble quote stickers on my photos. After college, life got hectic with teaching, marriage and having kids, so there was no time to scrapbook. But lucky for me, a co-worker invited me to a scrapbook retreat in 2006 (I had no idea what that was) but I was hooked! You mean I could go away for a weekend and just scrapbook…. ABSOLUTLEY BRILLIANT! When we left Miami for Virginia, I made sure to continue participating in scrapbooking retreats. And when we moved to the Treasure Coast, I found myself looking for scrapbook retreats once again. Unfortunately, there were none in my area of Stuart, Jensen Beach and Port St. Lucie. So, I took the challenge of starting my own with a friend in 2015 and Busy Bees Retreats was born. I hate scrapbooking alone, so if I don’t go to a retreat, I don’t scrapbook. For me scrapbooking is a social hobby. My retreats are small and cozy, but full of fun! Thanks to these retreats I have met some wonderful ladies, many who have become regulars and more importantly my friends. I’m sure if you decide to join us you will make lifelong friends as well.
